Dr. Russell Boyd is a native of Paris, Tennessee. Dr. Boyd received his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with honors from Washington University in St. Louis. He earned his Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree from Vanderbilt University and completed a 5 year residency in General Surgery at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He has undergone additional training specifically in the field of cosmetic surgery and is fully credentialed at all 3 of the area’s surgical facilities. Dr. Boyd is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgeons. He has been in practice in Paris since 1999 and during that time he has served as Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery at Henry County Medical Center as well as being elected State Counselor to the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Boyd’s work has been published in national surgical journals and he has been invited to lecture at teaching programs from California to Florida. Dr. Boyd has performed thousands of cosmetic surgical procedures and has received the designation of Master Surgeon.
